Our Womens sides have a vibrant look, dynamic in their new approach, as a whole has an effervescent bubbly feel about it with recruits from as far away as Tasmania and the Northern Territory, adding depth and good times on and off the field. |

| WOMENS'S SUPPORT TEAM | ||||
There have been a number of changes in the support team for the women this year, some old faces (existing club member, not elderly persons!) and some new ones, here is an introduction to the team: |

| Brad Lennie : Head Coach | ||||
| Started playing hockey at the age of 3. My whole family has played hockey at Brunswick and some extended family as well. I started playing open age men’s at the age of 13 to help fill the men’s 3rd side and played in the metro 2 side that won the grand final a few years ago. I played a couple of games in the state league men's team and played in the pennant side. My first venture in to coaching was with the Brunswick under 13's. At the end of that year I was asked to be an assistant coach for 1 of the vicstick sides. I also completed a level 1 coaching course during that year. | ||||

yrs playing hockey ranging from juniors to representing local association
at country week. Played most senior hockey for a Shepparton based club, spent a short time playing for Monash Uni and last 2 yrs at Brunswick HC. Began coaching in 2004, spent a year with women’s seconds at Strikers Hockey Club (Goulburn Valley Hockey Ass.), coaching a team of very inexperienced players. Helped them reach 3rd at end of season after finishing 2nd last previous year. Women's Head Coach -Strikers - 2005. Thanks to the support of assistant coaches we had all three women's teams making finals that year. Joined Brunswick HC 2006. Coached women's 2's 2007. Mixed fortune last year. But, happy with end result and hoping to build on what was developing last year into a premiership side. |
