Hook in2 Hockey at Brunswick:

Brunswick Hockey Club’s Hook in2 Hockey program will start with registration on Wednesday 26th March at 5pm. The program itself will run for four sessions:

Saturday 29th March 10.30am – 12.00pm
Wednesday 2nd April 4.30pm – 6.00pm
Saturday 5th April 10.30am – 12.00pm
Wednesday 9th April 4.30pm – 6.00pm

The program is held at our home ground, Brunswick Secondary College, Dawson Street, Brunswick (Melways Ref 29 ).

The cost is $50 for the school holiday program which includes:

♣A choice of one of the either of the Hook in2 Hockey Participant Packs:
Equipment Pack – a Hook in2 Hockey stick, shin guards and ball
Apparel Pack –  a Hook in2 Hockey t-shirt and bucket hat

♣Structured skill acquisition coaching sessions
♣Show bag containing cool and fun Hook in2 Hockey products
♣The opportunity to be involved in Australia’s most successful Olympic team sport!
♣Hook in2 Hockey is for children aged 5 to 12
 

What is Hook in2 Hockey?

Hook in2 Hockey is designed to introduce young boys and girls aged between 5 and 12 to the game of hockey. It focuses on basic skill drills and activities that promote maximum fun in a non-competitive environment.
 
Is Hook in2 Hockey safe?
YES! There are a number of things that make Hook in2 Hockey a safe and fun program:
♣ Activities in the Coaching Pack (session planner) are designed to allow participants to learn the basic skills of the game in a controlled environment
♣ A special, lighter than normal, hockey ball is used
♣ All participants receive a pair shin guards to wear and keep
♣ Leaders should not have more than 15 participants in their groups
♣ Only one person is allowed to tackle another at one time
