Our Women’s sides have a vibrant look and are dynamic in their approach to playing hockey. They have an effervescent bubbly feel about them, and recruits from as far away as Perth and South Africa add depth and good times on and off the field.

We are excited to add a fourth team in 2009, to cater for our rapidly expanding member base and the number of new faces we have around the club this season.

New players are always welcome, whether you are an experienced player or have never picked up a stick before. Just turn up to training, or contact the women’s section representative.

Head Coach: Brad Lennie

Level 1 Coaching - Hockey (2005)

Brad’s family has been around the hockey club for well over 60 years. His Great Uncle was one of the first men to begin a hockey career at Brunswick. Both his parents are active members of the club, playing, coaching and as members of the committee. They are also proud lifetime members. Brad has uncles, aunts, cousins and a brother and sister who are all active members of the hockey community. You could say he was born into a hockey family! Brad’s first venture into coaching was with the Brunswick under 13s in 2005, following which he was assistant coach for a Hockey Victoria under 11s Junior Development side. He has been a selector for under 11 and under 13 development squads and has worked with the coaching teams for both the state Women’s Veterans and Victorian Vipers in recent years.
