No Smoking at the Hockey Ground |

 The law was that smoking was not permitted in Victorian government school buildings or enclosed outdoor areas. It has now been upgraded to be no smoking while on school property both during and outside of school hours that means 24/7. The ban includes activities that take place within school boundaries, including ovals used by community sports groups, which includes the Hockey Club.
The Club committee agreed to accept the ruling and have notified the school that we shall notify our members that this is effective immediately. Signage shall be placed around the ground in due course, so l hope our members take note and in the interest of our ongoing relationship with the school, accept the ruling.
